MetaLib 2009年六月份知識庫更新

本月知識庫更新包括：
新增 22 個Targets ( Number of New Targets added: 22 )。
更新 204 個Targets ( Number of Updated Targets: 204 )。

更新的知識庫也可以在 SFXAdmin 管理介面的 "KBUpdate Reports" 取得。

1. 2009年七月份新增的Target：

• Target Configuration Guide
  • The GALEGROUP_GN_HISTORY_RESOURCE_CENTER_WORLD target has been added
    to the list of targets using the Gale::GaleNet parser.
  • Ebsco Databases – Information on article matcher was added.
  • Elsevier Freedom Collection – Instructions for using the Freedom collection localization script
    have been added.
    
• System Administrator Guide
  • The System Administration Guide has been edited and put into the new Ex Libris template.
  • A-Z Index (Version 2) – The old A-Z list is deprecated and a nightly cron job for the creation
    of its index is no longer needed. Instead, the RSI index should be set up with a nightly cron
    job.
  • Rapid Service Indicator – Information has been added about the use of RSI for the multiobject
    screen full text indicator and statistics query #16
    
• Source Configuration Guide
  NCBI PubMed – The documentation of PubMed's Outside Tool configuration has been updated.
  
• bX-SFX Configuration Guide
  This document has been updated in light of SFX changes for this revision.

2009 年六月 MetaLib 知識庫重要的異動包括：

1. CKB資源共計 2117 個，新增資源數 40 個。

• New IEEE Xplore Web-Based Configuration
• World News Connection (Dialog)
• Opera in Video (Alexander Street Press)
• IBIS World
• LegalTrac (Thomson/Reuters Gale)
• Blackwell Reference Online
• Brill
• PROQOLID (Mapi Research Institute)

3. 新增資源介紹：

• New IEEE Xplore Web-Based Configuration
  對於近期透過XML gateway 查詢IEEE Xplore 常發生問題的情形，Exlibris決定新增三個以外部程式整合WEB 介面的資源: IEEE Xplore Articles、IEEE Xplore Books以及 IEEE Xplore Education Materials 。

  敬請用戶確認在Metalib IRD中Authentication欄位輸入正確的IEEE Xplore Web帳號/密碼，如此才能正常地使用資源。

  Exlibris 將持續與IEEE協調，以解決XML gateway 的問題，並讓它能夠再次在MetaLib中查詢。

• LegalTrac (Thomson/Reuters Gale)
  不論是學生、法學院的教職員或法律研究學者，只要是需要搜尋法律相關出版品的人，就需要 LegalTrac。LegalTrac 廣泛收錄了最具代表性的法律出版品，包括重要法案評論、法律相關報章、法界期刊以及國際法律期刊，提供大約875筆的查詢索引。LegalTrac 每一筆資源都是依據美國法律圖書館協會（American Association of Law Libraries）之委員會所建議的特殊標準進行收錄。此外，LegalTrac 也從超過一千筆商業與一般書刊中粹選出與法律相關的文章予以收錄。
  
  我們非常高興 MetaLib 知識庫能有 LegalTrac 這樣的法律資訊資料庫巨擘加入。
  
  
• Blackwell Reference Online
  屬於Wiley-Blackwell一部份的Blackwell Reference Online是最大的線上學術文獻參考資料庫。Blackwell旗下的指南與手冊皆是世界頂尖學者在其各自領域所發表的最新研究結晶。Blackwell Reference Online可以讓讀者查詢這些書籍的全文，這對於教師、研究學者與學生們是一項非常寶貴的資源。
